Activity: Bridge Climb
Date: Friday, 4 September 2009

Details: Allow 3 hours for this original experience that takes you along catwalks, up ladders, and steadily to the summit of the well-known Sydney Harbour Bridge. Experience the satisfaction of conquering the upper arch of the Bridge while taking in city surrounds: The World Heritage listed Sydney Opera House, the harbour and the Bridge itself beneath your feet. A photo of your climb is included as a souvenir. Climbers must wear closed rubber-soled shoes.

N.B: special safety restrictions apply (including every climber passing an alcohol breath test); climbers must sign a declaration and disclaimer after checking in for the Climb and must satisfy BridgeClimb’s terms of trade. All carry items, including cameras, are not permitted (lockers provided).

Activity: Koalas and Kangaroos Tour
Date: Saturday, 5 September 2009
Time: 0945 - 1345 hours
Details: meet with these two Australian iconic animals. Your ranger will take you on a guided tour, where you will have the opportunity to meet a wombat, chat to a cockatoo, encounter an emu, feed a kangaroo, see wallabies, echidnas, flying foxes and view beautiful coloured birds. There is an opportunity to have your photo taken with a koala (own expense). Pick up at the Star City Hotel (a short walk from the Convention and Exhibition Centre), at 0945hours on Saturday, 5 September 2009.

Details: Board your vessel at King St Wharf Darling Harbour at 11.45am, on Friday, 4 September 2009 for a 2-hour cruise around the Harbour. A 2-course lunch with drinks will be served while you are admiring the view. Possibility to disembark at 1345 or 1520

POST CONFERENCE TOURS
Two tours are available to discover some of Sydney's surroundings most famous attractions.

Blue Mountains 4WD Adventure Treck

Depart the city to your breakfast location, Featherdale Wildlife Park, a special environment free of other tourists. After breakfast and the private viewing of koalas, enjoy meeting other Australian animals including kangaroos, emus, wombats, dingos and more...without other tourists.
Then, depart Featherdale as it opens to regular visitors and travel to the Blue Mountains to ascend Bells Line of Road and pause at Bilpin, citrus region of Sydney. Continue past Tomah Botanic Gardens and further up the mountains for a stop at Mt Banks. A short nature walk is planned where the native flora is described in an informative and interesting manner, and allows views of the wonderful Blue Mountains valley.
Cross the mountains to the east towards Mt Victoria for a sumptuous buffet lunch at the Imperial Hotel. After lunch, continue to Govetts Leap for magnificent valley and waterfall views before driving along Cliff Drive, The tour includes a stop at Scenic World for the opportunity to ride the gondola, wander through the ancient rainforest at the base of the Jamieson Valley, and ride the world’s steepest rail (Scenic World optional and additional cost). The views of the 3 Sisters from here are absolutely stunning. Drive to see the views of Megalong Valley before travelling down the mountains into the national park where guests will have one of the most memorable highlights of their day - kangaroos in their natural environment while enjoying a complimentary glass of champagne or orange juice.

Travel north to cross the mighty Hawkesbury River to wildlife sanctuary for morning tea then continue through national parks and rural farmland and true Australian natural bush and mountain ranges.
